 This course will help the agent clarify his role and responsibilities as a listing agent. It will help the listing agent choose the most appropriate type of listing and level of service depending upon different sellers' needs and the company agency policy. It will explore the different legal, fiduciary and ethical duties the agent owes the seller as the listing agent verifies the facts about the property, estimates the market value, markets the property, negotiates price and terms acceptable to the owner when an offer is received and manages the contract from contract to closing. The agent will take away a deeper understanding of the sales process from the sellers' agent's point of view.
