Virtual: Understanding Agency & Disclosures in NJ – 3 Core
Real estate professionals can establish different types of real estate relationships with consumers, which are then associated with different level of service.
The course will start by reviewing the NJ business relationships, discuss the ways to create those business relationships, understand the difference between relationship and compensation and the importance of written contracts.
Various compensation options will be briefly discussed, remembering that compensation is always negotiable between the parties of a contract and are tied to services provided. From there, the discussion will focus on the different level of obligations/ services when working as a single agent (buyer agent or seller agent), dual agent or transaction broker, highlighting the difference between working with a customer or a client and the conflicts of dual agency
