UNDERSTANDING THE CONTAMINATED GROUND WATER ISSUES IN POMPTON LAKES

One of the first questions people ask when they hear that a home is for sale in Pompton Lakes is “Is it in the plume?”, an area of contaminated groundwater. If the answer to that question is “Yes”, as a Realtor, you must be able to answer questions about the cleanup and communicate the implications of a sale or purchase in this area to sellers and buyers. Come meet with Perry Katz, EPA project manager and Pat Seppi, EPA Community Liaison to gain valuable information about selling homes “in the plume”. Perry and Pat have been overseeing the cleanup efforts in Pompton Lakes for many years and have extensive knowledge of the Pompton Lakes remediation projects.
