August 2024 Market Stats U.S. existing-home sales increased for the first time in 5 months, as lower mortgage rates and rising supply helped boost market activity. According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), sales of previously owned homes rose 1.3% month-over-month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.95 million units, exceeding economists’ expectations and ending the downward trend of recent months.

  • Single Family Closed Sales were up 4.4 percent to 2,019.
  • Townhouse-Condo Closed Sales were up 4.6 percent to 479.
  • Adult Communities Closed Sales were down 20.6 percent to 50.

This prestigious program comprises two awards: The NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award and the NJ Realtors Distinguished Sales Club. Applications were open on Aug. 1 and closed at 5 p.m. EST on Jan. 13, 2025.  Apply online HERE (login required).
 
The NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award recognizes those members who have demonstrated excellence in the field of salesmanship.
 
The 2024 award levels are:
·         Platinum: $20 million and 30 units minimum, or 125 units
·         Gold: $12 million and 25 units minimum, or 90 units
·         Silver: $6.5 million and 20 units minimum, or 70 units
·         Bronze: $2.5 million and 15 units minimum, or 30 units
 
October 7, 2024 NJ Realtors Circle of Excellence Unit Deadline, a minimum investment of $100 to RPAC earns one unit towards the award.  Investments must be made by close of business on October 7th to be eligible for the unit.

REALTOR Community Care Day North Central Jersey Association of Realtors® (NCJAR®) is calling on all members to lend a helping hand at this year’s Realtor® Community Care Day in Paterson, NJ, on Friday, September 27th. This special event presents an opportunity for Realtors® to come together to make a significant impact in the community by assisting a local veteran and his family with much-needed home repairs and cleanups.

Supporting Those Who Have Served

This year’s Community Care Day focuses on aiding a disabled US Veteran and his wife, who need our help to clean out their garage and make essential home repairs. Rebuilding Together North Jersey has partnered with NCJAR® for this event, bringing their expertise to handle various home improvements while we focus on the garage cleanup.
