In a heartwarming display of NCJAR community spirit, a group of dedicated Members of the Young Professionals Network recently lent their time and skills to a Habitat for Humanity project in Randolph, New Jersey, bringing hope and transformation to a local initiative. Their efforts focused on painting and interior work, enhancing the living spaces of deserving families and underscoring the power of collaboration and compassion within the real estate industry.
A very special thank you to NCJAR YPN Chairperson, Trustee and Team Leader, Irving Cham, Carolyn Bardach, Maria Gabbi Guerra, Shana Fegins, Luisa Martin and NCJAR Staff liaison, Darrell Wilson who dedicated Friday, April 5th to this Habitat volunteer day.
Habitat for Humanity has long been synonymous with the mission of building affordable housing and offering families a pathway to homeownership. However, these projects are made possible not only through financial support but also through the generous contributions of time and labor from volunteers. NCJAR has been a long supporter of Habitat for Humanity on behalf of our Members but also in volunteer efforts. The involvement of REALTORS in such initiatives not only underscores our shared commitment to the communities we serve but also highlights our dedication to creating vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods.
The decision to participate in the Habitat for Humanity project resonates deeply with our Members, especially, our Young Professionals Network, many of whom expressed a profound sense of fulfillment in contributing to a cause greater than themselves. The Habitat for Humanity project not only fosters camaraderie among the REALTORS but also strengthens their bonds with the broader community. By volunteering their time, they demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and set an example for others in the industry to follow.
NCJAR has additional upcoming Habitat volunteer efforts, “Women Build 2024” this May. You can volunteer for this upcoming project to demonstrate commitment to our communities through this selfless contribution and this true spirit of community.
