It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael J. Smith, Huntington National Bank, Chester, NJ.
Michael was a man of exceptional character and unwavering integrity. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, compassion, and boundless generosity. His warm smile and humorous spirit brightened the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael was a dedicated professional, excelling in his career of nearly two decades with Huntington National Bank. His passion for his work was evident in everything he did, and his contributions to many charitable events were invaluable.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Michael’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, between 4:00 and 8:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown, New Jersey. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Andover, New Jersey. Following mass, Michael will be laid to rest at Pequest Union Cemetery near his dear sister, Erika.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Debbie’s Dream Foundation or Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice.
