On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors®️ (NCJAR) held a highly anticipated mayoral meet and greet at The MC Hotel in Montclair, NJ. The event aimed to strengthen the bonds and foster collaborative efforts between the real estate community and local municipal administrations.
The event was spearheaded by NCJAR 2024 President Christopher Coccia, alongside Government Affairs Chairperson Melissa Florance-Lynch, the committee, and several NCJAR Trustees. They welcomed a distinguished lineup of local leaders, including:

- Dr. Renee Baskerville, Montclair Mayor-Elect
- Robert H. Conley, Madison Mayor
- Lou D'Angelo, Totowa Boro Council President
- Melody Scott, East Orange Councilwoman

- Andre Sayegh, Paterson Mayor
- Anna Maria Sasso, Hawthorne Councilwoman
Emily Hicks, Government Affairs Coordinator from NJ Realtors®️, provided valuable insights on state and local issues, underscoring the numerous opportunities for collaboration to benefit the communities.
The meet and greet ran from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in a relaxed and engaging setting, facilitating meaningful conversations and networking among attendees. NCJAR, representing Realtors®️ in Essex, Morris, Passaic, and Union counties, emphasized their commitment to advocating for real estate professionals and private property owners. They offered their services and resources to support local administrations and enhance community development.
The evening was a resounding success, highlighting the significance of partnership between the real estate sector and municipal leadership for the betterment of the communities they serve. NCJAR looks forward to continued collaboration and the positive impact it will bring to the region.
