In today’s globalized world, real estate knows no borders. Whether it’s a family relocating from abroad, foreign investors eyeing the U.S. market, or domestic buyers looking to purchase property overseas, international real estate is full of opportunity. The Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation is your gateway to this growing market — and a powerful credential that sets you apart as a global real estate professional.
Why Pursue the CIPS Designation?
The CIPS designation, offered through the National Association of REALTORS®, equips real estate professionals with the expertise, tools, and network to serve international clients and close cross-border transactions confidently. By completing the CIPS Institute, you’ll gain critical insight into global market trends, transactional tools, and regional best practices, enabling you to serve clients with international needs more effectively and build valuable international connections.
