NCJAR is an organization committed to promoting high ethical real estate practices. Central to their advocacy is the concept of Fair Housing, which is the right to choose
housing free from discrimination. The Fair Housing Act, signed into law in 1968, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability. NCJAR upholds these principles, working to ensure that all individuals have equal opportunity in seeking and maintaining housing.
NCJAR Advocacy refers to the organization's efforts to protect and promote real estate interests within its jurisdiction. The association champions for policies that enhance private property rights, uphold fair housing laws, and promote the successful practice of real estate.
