  • School SuppliesHELP LOCAL CHILDREN GET READY FOR SCHOOL

Support NCJAR's Annual Back to School Drive sponsored and organized by NCJAR Affiliates. Children need a fresh start each year. NCJAR has partnered with the United Way to Support low-income families in our northern New Jersey region, providing the necessary school supplies can be a financial hardship.

  • juneoutreachNCJAR has partnered with local nonprofit MEND, which partners with local pantries and works to alleviate hunger by providing fresh and healthy food to our neighbors facing food insecurity. People facing food insecurity also struggle with high rates of nutrition-related health issues due to a lack of access to healthy food

You can help by “shopping” for needed fresh food, and by sharing the link with your clients, colleagues, friends and family. All of the fresh food purchased in this drive will be delivered to MEND to be distributed to families in need.

MEND works to alleviate hunger in Essex County by supporting our network of food pantries. It also served over 160,000 people in 2020. Support includes fresh and healthy food, funds, social services referrals, volunteers, and a forum for member pantries. MEND advocates for policies to improve the quality of life for those in need in the County.

Click on the DONATE button and go to the donation store where you can pick out and purchase healthy food items.  At the end of the Drive, donations will be delivered for you directly to one of the MEND Food Pantries.

    Thank you for your support!
