The Realtor® Care Fund (RCF) distributes funds to members of our communities or to our Realtor® members who are in need of assistance due to a housing related emergency. Funds are raised through one dollar of each members’ dues plus individual office donations through internal fundraisers such as tricky trays or silent auctions. Distribution of funds is accomplished through an application process.


Any REALTOR® member in good standing of the North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® can make recommendation to the Review Board of an” emergency needs candidate” using the Candidate Application Form. The Review Board will make such determination as to approval/rejection of the candidate and make recommendation to the Community Service committee for confirmation vote. The NCJAR Board of Trustees, who will have final say, will review the result of the vote. In an effort to respond to the candidate request in a timely fashion, the Board of Trustees may vote via email.


A sub-committee of the NCJAR Community Service Committee consisting of five members will be appointed by the Chairperson to serve as the Review Board. There will be three one-year terms and two two-year terms.

The Review Board will have the authority to make recommendation for the approval of requests for financial assistance, and will present their recommendation to the full Community Service committee for vote. The Community Service Committee will present their recommendation to the NCJAR Board of Trustees who will have final approval.
